氷のCanyon
氷とは思えない。「地層」があるし「崖」もすごいし…。
そう、「氷山」は「水」が凍ったんじゃない。
圧縮された「雪」の塊なんだ。
その塊は時間とともに北極海から大西洋に移動しつつ
カタチのない「水」になっていく。

Ice Canyon
It is hard to believe that this is ice. There are layers and
amazing cliffs…. These ice mountains are not formed
when water freezes. They are snow packed down year
after year, forming immense blocks of ice. As time passes,
the blocks will become icebergs, float from the Arctic into
the Atlantic, melt and only at last become shapeless water.
